Barbra Streisand

Well not actually Barbra Streisand! But a banging tune from Duck Sauce (Armand Van Helden & A-TRAK)

Barbara Streisand (just.one.duran bootleg) - Duck Sauce by just.one.duran

It's been a while since I've posted but, this track is already set to be my one for the summer. It's infectious!

Also although I'm not playing this year check out LeeFest '10 which is set to have a stealla lineup released on Monday.

EDIT

Should that actually be BONEY M?

Old and grey but still rocking

When I first came across Ruth Flowers, i wasn't sure what to think.
So while most 69 year old women are more at home knitting or talking about the war, but Ruth Flowers is not your normal granny!
After insiting she attended her grandsons birthday this grandmother discovered a love for all things electro! Her grandson put her on to French music producer Aurelien Simon, who has help her develop her image and style!

Now regually found spinning tunes at the famous Queens Club in Paris, she also hosted an exlusive villa party at cannes last year.

Kick out the Jamm's

Wow!
So I'm pretty much still recovering from Saturday night's set . Despite using ear plugs my ears are still ringing!

Thanks to everyone that made it down, Brixton Jamm was filled to the rafters & The Maccabees didn't disappoint playing a set filled with indie anthems. The night was also attended by members of the Mystery Jets & reviewers from MTV, BBC & Spoonfed.co.uk

Here's to the next Pirate Riot!

Would love to see any photos anyone got of the evening, so drop me a mail: d2d@deathtodisco.com

Also t-shirts are back in stock on the shop so grab one while you can

In the mean time here's a great remix of X-Ray Vision

The Maccabees - X-Ray Vision (Filthy Dukes Remix)

Chaos Before Predictability...

Hi so still buzzing from a rather rawkus Saturday night, probably the best Pirate Riot I've done so far as well.
Great sets from LifeSize's Hatesy (not Hatsy as the flyer's lead you to believe) & XFM's Eddy Temple Morris. Whos late night onslaught of dub step, shook away those early morning cobwebs!!
Looking forward to pairing up with Bangers and Mash again in the new year.

So I'm currently finishing up a one hour mix for James Theaker of NME Radio. Which hopefully should be played out this Saturday (12/12/09). I'll let you know more details as soon as I get them.
This is a great opportunity for me and I'd really appreciate it if you could tune in and listen.

While I'm here time to make a quick plug to my friend Jon's new blog Chaos Before Predictability
Not really music centred, more day to day musings of the introspective kind. The type of blog to read with a glass of brandy and a good sense of humour (and as Jon might say a badger)!
